Crockpot Recipe - HOT SPICED CRANBERRY PUNCH




Ingredients:
1 qt. cranberry juice
1 qt. apple cider or pineapple juice
1 tsp. whole cloves
1/2 tsp. whole allspice
2 sticks cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Combine and heat until bubbly, 17 to 20 minutes. Strain spices before serving. This works well to put in crock pot. Heat on high until hot. Keep on low while serving.

Most meats require 8 hours of cooking on LOW. Use cheaper cuts of meat - not only do you save money, but these meats work better in the slow cooker. Cheaper cuts of meat have less fat, which makes them more suited to crockpot cooking. Moist, long cooking times result in very tender meats.
